Referring to my Despatch No. 216 Instant on the subject of Crown Lands in this Colony, I have the honor to forward to Your Lordship a copy of a letter from the Land Officer containing, as far as can be obtained, the information I expressed my intention of submitting; likewise a copy of a rejoinder which has been addressed to Government by certain Land Owners in answer to the letter which formed Enclosure No. 3 of the above dispatch.
